Lower Back Pain related to seated position all day

No, stretching (i.e. touching your toes) is NOT the solution.   That will actually aggravate the pain!   Why?   Because while in the seated position, the muscles surrounding the hip join (under your butt cheeks) are in a Stretched position all day!

Solution:  Contract the hamstrings to relieve the lower back.

 

Valuable Advice:  You must do the Opposite of the motion or position which caused the muscle-related trauma, in order to reset the muscle and allow it to relax.   This is true for ANY muscle group!
